Led by a gifted young singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Drakeford is a collective of international performers. At the core are catchy Mumford and Sons/Jason Mraz-like songs that draw audiences in but give an infectious message of second chances. Drakeford events often combine these original songs with performances from dancers, dramatists, and other artists. The group's band leader appeared on American Idol in 2009 and now has toured in Turkey, the Balkans, North Africa and Central Asia.
Listen to them for free on ReverbNation or their YouTube channel - but best of all see them live when they are near you! Check out the Drakeford website.
Tour Highlights
Drakeford was accompanied by an Australian saxophonist and a German drummer as well as two Taco members who energized the show with swing dance, drama, and hip hop. The team toured in southern Kyrgyzstan in the Osh and Batken regions performing concerts in outdoor squares and parks, community centers, a university. They even visited a school for handicapped children. The team was joined by a large team of local Kyrgyz believers who shared the gospel diligently every place they went. Seeing locals reach out to their own people and being a small part of that was a huge blessing. Check out a video from the tour
Wherever the singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jon Simpson has been – and he’s been around the world – he has been an artist who gets to the emotional core of his subject matter.
Simpson’s creative melodic rock possesses a poignant resonance that is part plea for a better world, and part determined declaration to do something about it. Check out the Jon Simpson website.
Tour Highlights
Led by Jon Simpson, a group of 10 international artists mixed drama and music to give 12 memorable concerts in 11 days. Under the guidance of a local pastor, they performed at an orphanage, several schools/colleges, a public park, and a rehabilitation center for drug and alcohol addicts.
The concerts were especially meaningful as they marked the ninth year of collaboration between TACO and local Kazakh believers. Four of the concerts took place in a heavily-Muslim city. More than 4,000 people heard the gospel message via the concerts and several people accepted Jesus into their lives. Check out a video from the tour
Face-to-Face in Turkey
May 26 - June 03
Face-to-face use drama/puppets with local styled dance and music to tell Biblical stories pointing to the work of Christ in salvation. The portable nature, quick set-up and highly visual approach of this type of outreach allow it to draw large crowds quickly and be performed from seaside boardwalks to busy parks. Click here or here to see shows.
Tour Highlights
On the second day of the tour, the team felt led to drive to a small city on the map called Keşan. They went to the park and talked to people and shared the gospel. These new friends asked them to do their show and actually went to draw a crowd which grew to almost 500 people. When Jesus was revealed as the last sacrifice for sin one indignant man started shouting, an unfortunate way to end the show. But as the van was being loaded two people passed by asking “did they really say that Jesus was the final sacrifice?” which was a bit like being on the road to Emmaus!

Tour Highlights
Following a week of dance workshops for local kids, Unishow combined forces with a band, two dancers, a clown and a drama team to put together a team of 12 folks for a fast-paced and attention grabbing show. Loved by kids and adults alike for folks in the capital of Tirana and further afield in the North of this little country in the Balkans. Although some shows were hard going due to crowds getting out of control, there were lots of conversations after concerts and in the weeks after the tour, we have had reports of new folks still attending meetings, studies and camps. Tour Highlights
The team did a few performances in various areas around Istanbul, Turkey. On crowded streets, the seaside, and even in a water park they drew big crowds and shared the Gospel openly. They shared not just the testimony of Jesus but also of their own lives. One man was shocked that Dustin didn't perform for money or fame but for God. At the water park the team unexpectedly had to share their stage with dancers in skimpy clothes who opened and closed the show. The environment was tough, but the team demonstrated the message of hope and love of Jesus to these girls as well as to the crowd. Check out a video from the tour
"No Longer Music" (NLM) was founded in Amsterdam in 1985 by David Pierce and has been touring the world ever since. Since its formation, NLM has made its mark through its bold and creative blend of music and theater. In many ways NLM has been and continues to be a refreshing exception to a music scene rarely daring to be different. Throughout the years the style of NLM has adapted but its commitment to cutting edge visuals and theatrics has ensured that international demand for the band has stayed strong. Check out the No Longer Music website.

The band played a few shows in Antioch and Istanbul to crowds of 250-400.They shared the Gospel clearly on stage, and afterward invited interested people to gather around as they shared more about Jesus. One night a Taco team member was able to pray with a young Muslim girl who invited Christ into her life! Another night one young man wanted to know if the band's message was real. They told him to pray for God to reveal the truth to him. The next night he came and told them, “Don’t give up! Keep on trying to give this message! It is important for people to hear this!” Check out a video from the tour

God provides! At the last show of the tour in the city of Burrel an electrical problem was discovered after setting up which resulted in a show without lights and subs. Despite this a crowd gathered that grew to upwards of 1500 people! With no promotion and almost no sound the gospel was still proclaimed and received by many. A local pastor said he hadn't seen a crowd this size in his city since a previous political party demonstration. Hundreds of people received Bible tracts and many signed up to receive more information about Jesus. Check out a video from the tour

The first two concerts in Kosovo, in the city square of Gjakova, had well over 1,000 people. Many came to the fire after the concert to hear about Jesus. On both nights many raised their hands saying they wanted to know Jesus. The local church organized a follow-up party a few days later for all those who responded. After one concert, a band member led a German speaking Kosovar to Jesus. The local church was very encouraged and reported that many surveys were filled out and many people had asked about the church. Check out a video from the tour

This was TACO's first tour in Tajikistan but we hope to go back again. The team started out performing and helping at a evangelistic youth camp that taught English. The demographic of kids was very mixed but we did our best to connect with and share about our talents that we use to glorify God. After the camp there were a few shows, Dustin and Drake got to share very openly at our only "secular" venue that was at a culturural center. Many of the believers there said that they had not seen such openness in Tajikistan but were very encouraged and hoped to be able to do so again.
Wings Worship Workshop in Turkey
August 22 - August 26
Every two years, local believers from Turkey gather together to be encouraged and trained as worship leaders and creative artists. There is Bible teaching and seminars, workshops, and technical lessons for music, drama and dance over four days where participants develop their skills and draw closer to God.
Tour Highlights
TACO organized the third Kanat Arts and Worship Camp in August at a Christian campground near Ephesus. Musicans and non-musicans were given opportunities to improve upon their musicianship, singing, dance, drama and poetry. There was also a Turkish pastor leading devotionals helping equip the students with a sound understanding of worshipping God and sharing him with others. The camp ended on a high note with the students going out and using some of their newly learned lessons to do outreach.

Because Bulgaria has many ethnic groups that speak Turkish, we found that everywhere we went, people stopped to watch the powerful presentation of Jesus interacting with an unclean man, the woman caught in adultery, and a tax collector. All were captivated and many were open!
Overall, our team found our week full of continual surprises: the openness with which we could share, the hunger people have for literature, and the incredible power of the gospel. On top of this, we even met a nomadic, tent-dwelling family who were already followers of Jesus, and invited us to their prayer time! Check out a video from the tour
"Cirque du Sokak" (Circus of the Street) is a group of long-termers and short-termers who used their terrific range of skills to spread the Gospel message on the streets of Istanbul. Theirs was indeed a veritable circus of unicycling, music, dance, juggling, drama, puppets and fire arts.
Tour Highlights
Cirque du Sol spent two weeks traversing the streets of Istanbul and using their diverse skills to spread the Gospel. They put on several performances of "Yuzyuze," the TACO puppet show that uses the story of Abraham sacrificing his son to explain the Gospel.
One of the most memorable events was when talent scouts from Yeteneksizsiniz (Turkey's version of America's Got Talent) watched Dustin unicycling and asked him to compete on their TV show. He passed on to the second round and even better, got to openly share about God's love on TV. To watch it, click on the video link! Check out a video from the tour

Tour Highlights
For Taco's 1st tour to this North African nation the organizers, restricted by anti-evangelism laws, chose a message of diversity as a theme to help make friends and build bridges. Most of the events were festivals featuring the team along with other music and drama acts. One night the power was cut too soon, but rather than get upset, Dustin performed and Drakeford kept playing songs unplugged. The crowd loved it; it was a great testimony, especially to the other musicians and crew. For the last show the team was able to share the gospel openly to Sudanese refugees while on church grounds.
